Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives and provide exceptional customer service in a pharmacy setting. You will assist pharmacists, handle data entry and dispensing tasks, and conduct CLIA-waived screenings in accordance with state and federal laws.

The role requires a current national registration or licensure where applicable and a commitment to HIPAA and safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support health and wellness initiatives and HIPAA compliance.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not involving professional judgment.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings per state and company policies.
• Maintain sanitation and safety per regulations and notify management of unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal regulations; report illegal activity when encountered.
• Demonstrate respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety in daily work.
