Kroger Family of Companies in United States, WA, Lacey, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support health and wellness initiatives. You will assist pharmacists, handle reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and maintaining up-to-date licensure where required.

You’ll also train clerks/technicians and support non-dispensing services. Responsibilities include compounding, post-fill audits, and adherence to sanitation and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• HIPAA compliance knowledge and adherence to company policies
• Ability to handle highly confidential information
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure as required by state

Responsabilités

• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies
• Maintain current national/state registration, certification, or license
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require a pharmacist's professional judgement
• Provide stellar customer experience during reception, data entry, adjudication and dispensing
• Support coaching and training of clerks/technicians
• Compound medications following state regulations
• Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings as per state/federal law and company policies
• Provide additional health and wellness services as allowed by regulators
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations; report unsafe conditions to management
• Comply with local/state/federal regulations; report illegal activity
• Must perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
