Kroger Family of Companies is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Tacoma, WA to provide exceptional customer service, assist pharmacists, perform data entry and dispensing steps, and uphold HIPAA and safety standards. You will support health and wellness initiatives, maintain licensure, and participate in non-dispensing services using various platforms.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, minimum age of 18, and ability to handle confidential information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsabilités

• Support health and wellness initiatives and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities not requiring pharmacist judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps.
• Support training of clerks/technicians.
• Compound medications per state regulations and perform post-fill audits.
• Assist non-dispensing services via platforms and applications.
• Complete CLIA-waived screenings as per laws and policies.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed; report unsafe conditions.
