University of Iowa Health Care – North Liberty Pharmacy is hiring a 100% Pharmacy Technician, Trainee. Under supervision, you will assist with drug distribution, inventory control, and sterile product preparation in a state-of-the-art facility on the North Liberty campus.

The role offers opportunities for growth through trainee or certified technician tracks. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and successful completion of a registered pharmacy technician program.

Qualifikationen

• Successful completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program.

Aufgaben

• Assist with pharmacy inventory maintenance in satellites and dispensing areas.
• Review inventory for expired medications and maintain par levels.
• Handle Epic In-Baskets: printing labels, restocking, and documentation.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and return unused meds.
• Ensure medication security and proper storage; manage controlled substances inventory.
