A Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Technician In-Training

• Enter prescription information, including patient searches, prescriber searches, drug selection, prescription interpretation, insurance billing, and documentation.
• Process new and refill prescriptions, including refills authorized by doctors.
• Retrieve medication from inventory.
• Create prescription labels and affix them to containers.
• Place medication into containers.
• Complete related paperwork and input data into the computer.
• Maintain the pharmacy environment by keeping it clean and organized.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, returns, restocking, and inventory counts.
• Support Rite Aid programs such as FlavoRx, Living More, etc.

Note: Working as a Pharmacy Technician involves working flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and some holidays. Our team-oriented environment encourages flexibility and collaboration to meet scheduling needs.

Qualifications
