Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; pharmacy registration in good standing preferred.
• Pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or state equivalent) preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly; basic PC skills and online forms.

Responsibilities

• Process new patient registrations and data entries per guidelines, within HIPAA.
• Run automated machinery, sort medications and manage inventory transitions.
• Count, label, pack and ship prescriptions; maintain orderly work area.
• Resolve third party rejects by gathering info and resubmitting as required.
• Assist pharmacists at the facility and other locations; escalate issues as needed.
