Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing medications, documenting records, and assisting in maintaining pharmacy operations. Join us in serving our community with dedication and care.

Responsibilities:

• Count, package, label unit doses for pharmacist inspection
• Assist pharmacists with filling orders and preparing labels
• Perform quality control and audits on medications
• Prepare IV mixtures and operate automated systems
• Maintain inventory and perform clerical duties
• Contribute to hospital improvement initiatives
• Report significant medical errors or patient harm following guidelines

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• State certification as a Pharmacy Tech
• National certification (CPhT) preferred
• Minimum 1-year hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and prescription drugs
• Customer service and communication skills
• Critical thinking and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
