Job summary

Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician for our phone support team. This remote opportunity follows an onsite training period and offers starting pay of $23/hour with a $3/hour weekend differential.

The role emphasizes customer service to providers and patients by phone, coordination of medication refills, and interaction with insurers on claims and prior authorizations. A Pharmacy Technician license is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed/registered Pharmacy Technician as required by state law.
• 1+ year Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and brand/generic names.

Responsibilities

• Assist health care providers and patients by phone; answering questions and requests.
• Coordinate medication refill deliveries with patients and physician office staff.
• Work with Insurance companies regarding rejected claims and prior authorizations.
• Serve as a primary contact for calls to patients and physicians.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth! As our organization continues to expand and our employees develop and promote within, we currently have Full Time positions available on our phone support team. Please note, currently all of our available schedules begin at 11 or 11:30am EST. Our specialty pharmacy is located in New Hyde Park, NY. This is a remote opportunity, after onsite training period. Starting salary from $23.00 an hour and up - w e also offer $3.00/HR shift differential for WEEKEND schedules. Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for employees starting before Decem ber 28th, 2026. We offer quarterly incentive bonuses as well as a $500 bonus for technicians to obtain their CPhT and/or CPhT-ADV credentials.
