Job summary

Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy is expanding its outbound phone support team. This remote role begins after an onsite training period in Woodridge, IL and offers starting pay of $22 per hour plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for hires starting before December 28, 2026.

As a member of the outbound phone support team, you will assist health care providers and patients by phone, coordinate medication refills, liaise with insurance on claims, and be the primary contact for calls to patients and physicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year Pharmacy Technician experience.
• PTCB certification as required by state law.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers and patients by phone, answering questions and requests.
• Coordinate medication refill deliveries with patients and physician offices.
• Work with insurance companies regarding claims and prior authorizations.
• Serve as primary contact for calls to patients and physicians.

Job description

Our specialty pharmacy is located in Woodridge, IL. This is a remote opportunity, after onsite training period.

Starting salary from $22.00 an hour and up - we also offer $3.00/HR shift differential for WEEKEND schedules.

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for employees starting before December 28th, 2026.

As a member of our Outbound Phone Support team, you will:

• Assist health care providers and patients by phone; answering questions and requests.
• Communicate with patients and physician office staff to coordinate medication refill deliveries.
• Work with Insurance companies regarding rejected claims and prior authorizations.
• Serve as a primary contact for calls to patients and physicians.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Good interpersonal skills

• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Knowledge of medical terminology (including sig codes and Roman numeral), brand and generic names of medications and general pharmacy terminology
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information
• Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills

Required education:

• High school or equivalent

• Pharmacy Technician: 1+ years
