Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and performing other pharmacy duties per company policies.
• Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
• Delivering excellent customer service and developing strong customer relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers, assisting with products and services, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members.
• Building relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Supporting pharmacy operations including prescription filling, verifying medicines, and managing inventory.
• Reporting prescription errors and adhering to quality and safety policies.
• Managing sales transactions and assisting with clinical services and outreach programs.
• Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through training and continuing education.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities.

External Basic Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior experience with Walgreens preferred.
• Good math and computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification preferred.
