Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and assisting with other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
• Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in system operation.
• Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and answering questions.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practices, including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and supporting workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to quality policies.
• Handling sales, cash register operations, and customer assistance in locating products.
• Processing third-party claims and supporting inventory management activities.
• Supporting clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintaining a clean, stocked, and orderly pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification through our training program and/or state certification, with promotion requirements if applicable.
• Participating in training and continuing education to stay updated in healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (excluding Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
