Responsibilities include:

1. In accordance with state and federal regulations, assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Support other Pharmacy Department duties according to company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching and supporting other technicians if certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and developing strong relationships.

Operations:

1. Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
2. Perform duties such as entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and supporting workflow management.
3. Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality and safety policies.
4. Handle transactions, process claims, and support inventory management activities.
5. Support clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
6. Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and support external relationships with healthcare providers.

Training & Personal Development:

1. Earn and maintain PTCB certification through our training program and/or state requirements. Certification is a condition for promotion to senior technician.
2. Attend training sessions and acquire continuing education credits to stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.
3. Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
4. Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
