Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and assisting with other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assisting and coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and developing strong relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers and offering assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices and developing relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assisting in pharmacy practices, including data entry, prescription filling, and verifying medications under supervision.
• Reporting prescription errors and adhering to policies regarding dispensing and sales.
• Supporting inventory management, clinical services, and maintaining the pharmacy environment.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintaining PTCB certification and attending training for ongoing education.
