Responsibilities include:

• Assist the pharmacist, under supervision, in practicing pharmacy in accordance with regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service, engaging with customers and resolving issues.

Additional duties:

• Perform pharmacy duties such as entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking interactions.
• Handle sales transactions, assist with inventory, and support clinical services as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers and ensure the pharmacy environment is clean and organized.

Training & Personal Development:

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through Walgreens’ training program.
• Attend training sessions, acquire continuing education credits, and stay updated on healthcare developments.
• Must be fluent in English and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.
