Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, and performing other pharmacy duties per company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in system operation.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience:

• Greeting customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Sharing customer service best practices with team members to enhance service quality.
• Developing strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations:

• Supporting pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision, including entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and managing workflow.
• Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies regarding dispensing and quality improvement.
• Handling sales, assisting with inventory management, and supporting clinical services and community outreach as needed.

Training & Personal Development:

• Maintaining PTCB certification through the designated training program or state certification/registration, with promotion contingent upon certification.
• Attending training and acquiring continuing education credits to stay current with healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
