Overview

Our pharmacy technician positions have evolved from transaction-based roles to patient-centric roles. As a Walgreens Pharmacy Technician or Apprentice, you'll interact with customers and build strong patient relationships. We support your growth with advanced technology and training programs, including an ASHP and Department of Labor recognized apprenticeship that prepares you for PTCB certification and career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists under supervision in pharmacy practice, following state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, obtain patient and drug information, and support pharmacy operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer needs and resolving issues.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferably, have six months of retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, and PTCB certification.

Additional Information
