Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice in accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and procedures.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations. Certified technicians may also coach others on system use and cashier operations.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and developing strong relationships.

Customer Experience

1. Greeting customers and offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure satisfaction.
2. Sharing customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal skills and Walgreens service traits.
3. Building relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

1. Supporting pharmacy practice under supervision, complying with all policies and codes of conduct.
2. Performing duties such as entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with workflow management.
3. Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to error and quality policies.
4. Handling sales, cash register operations, and customer assistance in locating products.
5. Managing third-party claims and supporting inventory management activities.
6. Assisting in clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
7. Building relationships with the medical community through outreach and detailing.
8. Maintaining the pharmacy environment, ensuring supplies and cleanliness.
9. Complying with all policies, maintaining respectful relationships, and completing assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintaining PTCB certification through training and continuing education; certification may be required for promotion.
2. Attending training sessions and staying informed on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
