Whether you're new or experienced, Walgreens will train you to serve and care for our patients and customers. Our training program provides foundational and advanced knowledge, skills, and on-the-job experience to prepare you for certification.

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in accordance with state and federal regulations. Support pharmacy operations per company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to access patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with system operation if PTCB certified. Support cashiers and team members as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service, greet customers, resolve issues, and develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and codes of conduct.
• Perform tasks such as entering patient data, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting with inventory and clinical services as directed.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality and safety policies.
• Manage sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and handle calls related to pharmacy operations.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through training and continuing education. Prioritize ongoing knowledge of healthcare developments.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Prior retail or Walgreens experience is preferred.
• Possess good math and computer skills, and knowledge of inventory control is a plus. PTCB certification is preferred.
