• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations. Support other Pharmacy Department duties following company policies and procedures.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and if PTCB certified, assist and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers in their respective roles.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practices under pharmacist supervision, ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations.
• Perform duties such as entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to policies related to pharmacy errors and quality improvement.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and support inventory management activities.
• Support clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintain the pharmacy's appearance and supplies, and foster respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments as needed.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the training program and/or state registration, with certification as a condition for promotion.
• Attend training sessions, acquire continuing education credits, and stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
