Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information and adhere to state regulations.
• Experience supporting pharmacy operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with responsibilities excluding professional judgments.
• Provide customer service and complete reception, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing steps.
• Handle cash, credit/debit, EBT, and gift cards, following cash handling policies.
• Count, measure, and prepare products following company practices.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations and customer waiting areas.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Answer phones and triage inquiries; complete billing procedures.
• Monitor inventory ordering from wholesalers and use approved processes.
• Comply with food safety, sanitation, and safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
