Job summary

Harris Teeter in Clayton, North Carolina is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists, dispense medications, and maintain regulatory compliance. You will support health and wellness initiatives and ensure accurate data entry and patient interactions at the point of service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support company health and wellness initiatives.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Perform essential functions of a Pharmacy Technician.
• Maintain current national and/or state registration, certification, or license.
• Assist pharmacist in responsibilities that do not require professional judgement.
• Provide stellar customer experience while dispensing medications and completing data entry.
• Perform post fill audits to verify prescription information matches records.
• Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and applications.
• Comply with sanitation and safety regulations and local/state/federal health codes.
