Job summary

CVS Health is recruiting for Pharmacy Technician roles within its Retail locations. Technicians support pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and patient service while adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements.

They complete training and licensing per state guidelines, assist with immunizations where allowed, and may travel between stores to cover shifts as needed, all within a respectful, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and support prescription fulfillment to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Provide compassionate patient service and empathetic care at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe operations.
• Support inventory tasks and assist with returns, counts, and stocking as allowed by law.
• Travel to stores within the market as needed to cover shifts and meet business needs.
