Job summary

CVS Health Pharmacy Technician roles support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional customer care in a retail setting. Technicians follow SOPs, assist in immunization processes where allowed, and maintain compliance with state board guidelines and company training programs.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and willingness to meet licensure and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet state board of pharmacy requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Support immunization efforts when eligible, under supervision and policies.
