Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support in-store pharmacy teams, ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent patient service. You will assist with workflow, immunizations where allowed, inventory tasks, and customer interactions across the market stores.

Preferred qualifications include state board requirements, high school diploma or equivalent, and readiness to travel to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program.
• State‑level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist patients with empathy and contribute to a positive patient experience at pick‑up, drive‑thru, and over the phone; support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs, privacy rules, and safety standards.
