Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams across stores, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, patient safety and high‑quality customer service. The role includes training, adherence to SOPs, immunization support where permitted, and potential travel within the market to cover shifts.

Candidates should meet state licensure requirements, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate strong communication, problem solving and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice.
• If state board does not mandate minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If state board does not mandate minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers with regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Contribute to accurate prescription fulfillment and patient safety.
• Assist with basic inventory activities per policy (receiving deliveries, cycle counts, returns to stock).
• Support pharmacists and pharmacy team to deliver care and service excellence.
• Be flexible for scheduling and market coverage needs, including travel to stores as needed.
