Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions with compassionate service. You will follow SOPs and workflow procedures to ensure efficient operations, assist with immunizations where permitted, and help maintain inventory and patient safety within the store environment.

The role requires lifting, standing for extended periods, and adherence to state licensing and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice.
• If the state board does not mandate a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to deliver accurate, timely prescriptions and customer service.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations.
• Assist with immunizations and offsite clinic staffing where allowed by law and training.
• Complete basic inventory tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centric service and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive team environment and adapt to scheduling needs.
