Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service at our retail locations. You will operate within SOPs, assist with immunizations, and help ensure a caring, compliant environment for patients.

The role requires meeting state licensure/certification requirements, with duties potentially expanding as you complete training and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing pharmacy practice.
• If no minimum age is mandated, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address minimum education, must have HS diploma or equivalent or be enrolled in HS.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic, patient-focused service at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone; assist with immunizations and related services.
• Complete basic inventory tasks; accurate stocking, returns-to-stocks, and cycle counts as directed.
