Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist patients, manage workflow across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off, and help with immunization services where allowed by state law.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, ongoing training, and a commitment to patient safety and privacy. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in delivering caring service.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements and licensure rules.
• Minimum age 16 if not specified by state law.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients and colleagues.
• Communicate clearly with patients and team members.
• Use math to verify prescriptions, dosage, and day’s supply.
• Identify and address patient concerns and escalate when needed.
• Maintain safe and accurate handling of medications and supplies.
• Support additional tasks as directed by supervisor.
