Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Retail team in Virginia. You will support the pharmacy staff in filling prescriptions accurately, managing inventory, and delivering friendly service to patients and customers.

You will complete required training, meet state licensure and national certification requirements, and help ensure safe, compliant operations across shifts, including nights and weekends where needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board licensing and national certification requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in a program.
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to follow pharmacy SOPs and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist patients and customers, delivering compassionate service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinic staffing where allowed by law.
• Perform basic inventory tasks, cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, and other duties as directed.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety.
