Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support store operations, assist pharmacists, and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment. You will follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and customer service, and contribute to a caring, compliant pharmacy environment.

The role requires completing state requirements, licensure or certification as applicable, and flexibility to cover a 40-hour work week with varied shifts across the market.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification
• If the state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists manage and improve patient health
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across workflow stages
• Deliver empathetic and quality customer service to patients and coworkers
• Perform basic inventory tasks and assist with receiving and stocking items
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed by the business
• Comply with applicable laws, policies, and privacy requirements
• Support immunizations and point-of-care services where trained and permitted
