Job summary

CVS Health in retail locations is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and caring service. Technicians follow SOPs, assist with immunizations where allowed, and help provide a positive patient experience in the store.

The role emphasizes flexibility, regular attendance including evenings/weekends, and adherence to state licensure and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, age, education and licensure/certification.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver compassionate patient service and handle customer interactions.
• Complete basic inventory activities and assist in responsibilities as directed by pharmacy leadership.
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel within the market as needed by the business.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional health care services where permitted by law and trained.
