Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering prompt and accurate prescriptions. This role emphasizes patient care, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with pharmacists to provide immunizations and other services where allowed by law.

The technician will assist with dispensing, customer service, inventory, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining a compassionate and inclusive environment for patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education and licensure/certification
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers patients with empathy and care across pickup, drive-thru, and phone interactions
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Assist Pharmacists in delivering vaccines and point-of-care services where permitted by law
• Perform basic inventory tasks and assist in stock management
• Maintain safety, privacy, and compliance with all regulations and CVS policies
• Meet attendance requirements including nights and weekends
• Communicate clearly to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
