Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for our Retail locations. Technicians support pharmacy teams to deliver safe and efficient prescription fulfillment, by following SOPs and working closely with Pharmacists to ensure accurate dosing and patient service.

Role involves assisting with immunizations where allowed, engaging with patients to provide excellent service, and contributing to a safe and inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow required training and SOPs at each workstation.
• Assist pharmacists in maintaining patient safety and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service and support immunizations and in-store services when allowed by law.
• Support inventory and operational tasks as directed by store leadership.
