Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our Retail locations in Texas. This part-time role supports pharmacists, assists with prescription fulfillment, inventory, and patient interactions at the register and drive-thru.

The position emphasizes patient safety, adherence to SOPs, and flexibility for scheduling. Immunization support and on-site clinic staffing may be involved where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including age, education and licensure/certification.
• If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum education is mandated, candidate must have a high school diploma or be enrolled in a high school/equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist patients at pick-up and drive‑thru.
• Assist with inventory activities and maintain stock accurately.
