Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Texas. You will support pharmacy teams to fill prescriptions safely, accurately, and with exceptional patient service.

The role requires compliance with state board rules, high school diploma or equivalent, and active licensure/certification where applicable. You may participate in immunization activities and other services as trained and permitted.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board has no minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and workflows at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off).
• Deliver empathetic, compassionate patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and by phone.
• Contribute to inventory activities; stock, counts, and returns-to-stocks as directed.
• Support immunizations and other services when trained and permitted by law.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to support operations.
