Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our store team. You’ll support the pharmacy staff in filling prescriptions, delivering patient-focused service, and upholding safety and quality standards.

The role involves following SOPs, assisting with immunizations and clinic services where allowed, and maintaining accurate inventory under supervision. Flexibility for scheduling and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification where applicable.
• State requirements may include minimum age and education rules; in some states, minimum age can be 16.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment in a high school program.
• Completion of required training and certification per state guidelines, as applicable to the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and customer service.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Support immunizations and other patient services where allowed by law and training.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock management under supervision.
• Protect patient privacy and comply with regulations and CVS policies.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores as needed by the business.
