Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care across our retail stores. The role emphasizes SOP adherence, customer service, and teamwork to ensure a caring in-store experience.

The Technician will assist with immunizations where permissible, support inventory tasks, and participate in ongoing training to meet licensure and state requirements. Strong communication and precision are essential.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time; pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner; respond to patient needs
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate tablets, days supply, and bottles as needed
• Problem Resolution: identify and handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: lift, reach, stand for extended periods; monitor visual details
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
• Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40

• Pay Range: $17.00 - $17.00
