Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering patient-centered care within our stores. You will ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, assist with immunizations where allowed, and uphold SOPs to provide a caring, accurate patient experience.

In this role, you will complete required training, handle routine operations, and contribute to a safe, inclusive store environment while supporting pharmacists in daily tasks and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements and licensure.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• If no minimum educational requirement is stated, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and focus on assigned tasks.
• Provide customer service and work with a team.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Perform basic math for prescriptions, supplies and dosing.
• Resolve problems and escalate when needed.
• Maintain physical fitness for lifting and standing.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
