Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering efficient and accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient experiences at our retail locations. You will help ensure safety, compliance, and quality as part of a caring, inclusive team.

Successful candidates will complete required state licensure and certification requirements and may have opportunities to perform immunization support where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to assist pharmacists in managing patient health and safety.
• Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures for safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide compassionate service to patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and by phone; support immunizations and services.
• Assist with inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be receptive to feedback; travel to stores as needed.
