Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service in our store locations.

The role requires completing a rigorous training program, complying with state board requirements, and maintaining certification as required. The position may include immunization support and occasional travel to other CVS locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and patients with empathy, ensuring a positive experience.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment and accuracy, following SOPs.
• Contribute to safe and effective operations, including inventory duties and returns-to-stocks.
• Support immunization services where allowed by law and certified.
• Travel to other stores in the market as needed to cover shifts.
