Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care in store locations. Responsibilities include following SOPs, assisting with immunizations when qualified, and maintaining inventory and operations to ensure superior service.

Successful candidates will complete required training, meet state licensure/certification requirements, and demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice
• If state board does not mandate minimum age, must be at least 16
• If state board does not address minimum educational requirement, must have high school diploma or equivalent
• State‑level licensure and national certification vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Assist pharmacists in ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Contribute to patient experiences with empathy and care
• Maintain inventory activities and cycle counts
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel to stores as needed
• Comply with all laws, regulations and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
• Provide additional services such as immunizations where trained and permitted
