Job summary

CVS Health is seeking pharmacy technicians to support our pharmacy teams in delivering accurate, safe, and compassionate patient care at our retail locations. You will assist with prescription fulfillment, immunizations where permitted, and customer service at the register and drive-thru.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will complete required training, maintain compliance with state board requirements, and help ensure patient safety while upholding CVS SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and patient interactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory, dispense accuracy, and patient privacy.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflows at each workstation.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive store environment.
• Travel to other stores in the market as needed.
