Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in providing safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and empathetic patient service within our retail stores.

You will complete required training, comply with state boards, and help ensure operations run smoothly while maintaining patient privacy and safety. This role may require variable scheduling across store locations to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Must comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, which includes but is not limited to, age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address or mandate a minimum age requirement, must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time and pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient reactions.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues clearly and effectively.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate totals, days supply, and quantities for prescriptions.
• Problem Resolution: identify and resolve patient or colleague issues.
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, and handle equipment.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
