Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in providing safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care across our retail stores in the United States. You will follow SOPs, assist with prescriptions, immunizations where permitted, and uphold privacy and safety standards.

The role requires meeting state licensing requirements, performing duties with accuracy, and staying flexible to store scheduling and market needs.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• If the state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Provide empathetic patient service and assist in immunizations and related services where allowed by law.
• Support inventory activities and assist the pharmacy team as directed by leadership.
