Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and efficient prescription services in our retail stores. You will help ensure accurate filling, patient interactions, and adherence to SOPs across multiple tasks including immunizations where permitted.

The role requires compliance with state board requirements, regular attendance, and the ability to travel to market stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, including licensure/certification
• If state board does not mandate minimum age, must be at least 16 years old
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and patient interactions
• Ensure patient safety by labeling accuracy and proper medication handling
• Support immunization services where permitted by law and training
• Perform basic inventory tasks and cycle counts
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed
