Job summary

CVS Health is hiring Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and excellent patient care in our stores. You’ll learn and follow SOPs, assist with immunizations and other services where allowed, and help maintain efficient pharmacy operations across shifts.

The role requires meeting state board requirements, completing training, and maintaining licensure/certification as required by state law.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic, patient-centered service at pick-up, drive-thru, and on the phone.
• Assist with basic inventory activities and cycle counts.
• Travel to stores in the market to support business needs.
