Job summary

Intermountain Health Cedar City Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in safe, efficient pharmaceutical care across acute, community, ambulatory, and specialty settings.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts 6:30 AM–2:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, including some holiday rotations. The team delivers high-quality patient-focused service and follows state regulations.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and controlled substances.
• Lapse or failure to meet requirements may result in disciplinary action.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all phases of pharmacy services under supervision of pharmacist.
• Answers phones and provides excellent customer service.
• Collects clinical and patient information and maintains records as required.
• Prepares medication orders and compounds medications as appropriate to practice site.
