Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing, records maintenance, and patient information collection. You will work under supervision to ensure accurate orders and safe medication handling at our Salt Lake City site.

The role emphasizes customer service, team collaboration, and accuracy, with a standard 40-hour week and shift flexibility. Proficiency with pharmacy software and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all phases of pharmacy services under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Answers phones and provides excellent customer service.
• Collects patient information and maintains appropriate records as required.
• Prepares medication orders for dispensing and compounds medications as appropriate.
• Maintains controlled substance inventories and ensures security and 340B/Charging management.
