Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and making interactions positive.
• Accept new written prescription orders and telephoned refill requests under supervising pharmacist.
• Gather and maintain accurate patient information required to prepare prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products for dispensing and labeling.
• Submit insurance claims and assist with third-party insurance billing and troubleshooting.
• Maintain confidentiality of patients' private medical information in accordance with HIPAA.
