Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Outreach Eligibility Specialist in Louisiana to support the growth of our specialty pharmacy program. You will identify eligible patients, perform benefits investigations, and maintain confidentiality while ensuring coordinated patient care.

The role requires state registration in Louisiana and strong communication, organizational, and technical skills to review records and document findings accurately.

Qualifications

• State-registered Louisiana Pharmacy Technician; CPhT preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician; HS Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication, organization, and tech skills.
• Empathy, integrity, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct benefits investigations using approved tools and pharmacy systems.
• Review medical records to confirm current medication needs.
• Document all findings clearly and accurately.
• Partner with team members to ensure high‑quality, coordinated patient care.
• Identify trends, solve problems, and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ongoing job knowledge.
• Perform other duties as needed.
